Steam Chocolate Cake

Ingredients A

1 cup of  cocoa powder

1 cup of  castor sugar

1 cup of  evaporated  milk ( susu sejat carnation/f&n)

1 cup of corn oil

1/2 cup of  sweetened condensed milk (susu pekat manis)

Ingredients B

1 1/4 cup of  plain floor*

1 tsp soda bicarbonate*

1 tsp baking powder*

(Sift all * ingredients together)

1 tsp vanilla esen

3 eggs

Combine all ingredients A in a saucepan. Stir over lower heat till all dissolved. Fire off and let it warm . In the mean time, beat all eggs until pluffy .

Pour the vanilla essence, beaten eggs to the ingredients A. Stir it well. Sift the floor, cocoa powder, soda bicarbonate and baking powder into a large bowl mixture. Mix with the ingredients A and stir it till well mix.

Heat up the steamer.
Lined and greased a 9 inch baking pan or 2 9’inch sandwich pan.
Pour the batter into prepared pan and place the pans into the steamer and cover the top of the pan losely with a piece of aluminuim foil.
Steam over medium heat for 1 1/2 hour (45 mins for 1/2 recipe/ingredients).
Cold the cake in pan before turning out for further decoration.
